The student residence on Boeserlagestraße is currently the largest passive house residence for students in Europe. For residential groups of 3 or 5 people, but also for individuals and student couples, it offers attractive living space in four differentiated building blocks with high living quality and flexible floor plans. In 2009, the passive house student residence was awarded a design prize in a NRW state competition for innovative forms of housing ("Landeswettbewerb NRW für innovative Wohnformen"). Here you can find more information. The buildings are located near lake Aasee, Münster's recreational area with connection to the city centre. To the University Hospital it is approx. 3.6 km. The Mensa am Aasee, the Hier und Jetzt as well as the BAföG office (for study financing), the student housing office and the administration of the Studierendenwerk are approx. 2.8 km away.
