The student residence is located in Gievenbeck, a quiet district in the north-west of Münster, but still close to the city centre. There are many university facilities nearby, e.g. the university sports centre, the Leonardo campus with the Art Academy and facilities of Münster's University of Applied Sciences as well as many departments of the science and medical studies.

The Da Vinci canteen on the Leonardo campus is around 1.8 km away, and the Mensa am Ring approx. 1.8 km. Here you will also find the Viva Campus Café. The social counselling service of the Studierendenwerk is located in the nearby Wilhelmskamp dormitory and will be happy to help and advice. The distance between the student residence on Busso-Peus-Straße and the administration of the University of Münster at Schlossplatz 2 is approx. 2.8 km.
