The use of  Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics utilizes so-called “cookies”, text files, which are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your utilisation of this website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will employ this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about the website activities for the website owners and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties when this is required by law or insofar as third parties have been commissioned by Google to process this data. Under no circumstances will Google use your IP address in connection with other data from Google. Although you can adjust your browser software to prevent the installation of the cookies, we would point out that if you do so you might not be able to make full use of all of the website’s functions. By using this website you express your consent to the processing of data collected by Google about you in the manner described above and for the purpose previously mentioned.

We would like to point out that our website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()” to improve data protection. In this case your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other countries which are parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the complete IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Thus a direct reference to a particular person during the analysis of the use of our website is excluded.

You can decline the placement of Google Analytics Cookies by selecting the appropriate setting in your browser. By doing so, you can exercise your right to revoke your consent with future effect to the collection, processing and use of data by Google Analytics. For this purpose you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. This prevents Google Analytics from storing information about your visits to the website. You can find further information as well as instructions for downloading and for installing the opt-out browser add-on here.
