The Coerdehof student residence (former Hotel Coerdehof) is in the centre of the Kreuzviertel, one of Münster’s most charming districts. It is characterised by a dense, closed development with many old buildings from the 19^th and 20^th centuries. Thanks to the promenade and the Wienburgpark it is green and quiet here, although the city centre is only a few minutes away. Two-day care centres for children are in the basement of the Coerdehof. From the student residence it is only about 1.2 km to the administration of the University of Münster at Schlossplatz 2.
